Working for a newspaper can sometimes be very very hard and painful, especially if there's nothing much happening and the constant urge for fresh and breaking news is too much pressure. So, sometimes man is gotta do what a man is gotta do - fake a young lady's death in order to save his job (and a career). But was that really the smart thing to do, because the truth will always come out and the consequences for the wrong doing will need to be accepted.

The funny story telling by William A. Wellman and the great cast makes this one an highly enjoyable movie and one of the most praised comedies in the Public Domain. This is a 74 mins PD copy.
