In the midst of the presidential election of 2009. Hope was needed by all Americans. That's probably why many saw Obama as a superhero who will save the America from collapse and financial breakdown. JibJab used the idea, and showed future to be president as a real Superhero. It was extremely popular at the video sites and was commented as a Barack Obama Superhero masterpiece.
