The Avenger (1962)

After the Trojan war and destruction of the whole city, survivors made their way to Italy where they hope to start a new life. But overpopulated region and various tribes doesn't see things so simple and easy.

Idea for the plot comes from Virgil's poem 'The Aeneid'. Movie is packed with detailes that depicts convincing atmosphere and historical research with bird shooting on horse, bizarre crown and rustic costumes among others.
