Devil Diamond (1937)

Cursed Devil Diamond is in town. Local jeweler has been hired to do the magic and cut it into normal pieces for easier sellout. A group of thugs caught the word on the street and are planning to steal expensive rock.

Bits of comedy, bits of drama and bits of thriller... it's very enjoyable if you put it in a light thriller context. All other reviews and analysis will bring you to dead end and taking this flick too seriously. It was made to entertain younger audience without a lot of twists and deep character analysis with simple linear storytelling. This is a Public Domain copy and it's great if you're into light entertainment. Enjoy!
