The Day of the Wolves (1973)

Similar to Reservoir dogs, this mystery crime movie gathers thieves who are hired to meet in a ghost town under mysterious proposition and with weird tasks. With fine sum of money promised after "the job", they have to hide their identities and wear gloves for the prints. But first they have to train a lot and be maximally prepared for the heist. Local Sheriff and some farmers dislike the idea and will try to run the gang out of their small and quiet city.

Most of the reviews will notice movie's low budget as the biggest obstacle in gaining wider audience but even with the small production it has an interesting premise, many years before the cult and glorified but also similar "Reservoir Dogs". The best thing in this action-thriller is the soundtrack!, masterfully crafted by Sean Bonniwell, one of DJ Shadows favorite musicians. The movie has fallen into Public Domain and this is the 90 min copy!
