A Tattered Web (1971)
What happens when you find out that your daughter's husband is cheating on his wife? You confront the other woman and try to explain her a few things but you accidentally kill her. Good thing you're detective so you know how police stuff works so you plant the evidence that a killer might be a known local scumbag.
Paul Wendkos did a decent job with directing this flick and made a good movie for all that like thriller filled with action. Interesting premise and solid acting keeps you in the plot. Lloyd Bridges is excellent although a bit more suspense would do this movie a big favor. You can find it very cheap on a sale-outs or Ebay since this is a Public Domain movie. We present you PD clean copy for your viewing pleasure.
